SALE PROCESS
Financial distress arises from a variety of events, including overleverage, economic headwinds, liquidity issues and other challenges. The Onyx team works with distressed situations, both in-court and out of court, to achieve the highest risk adjusted returns for our clients and their clients. In doing so, Onyx executes efficient and strategic sale processes utilizing creative sale structures and innovative strategies that attract bidders and/or credible stalking horse interest by leveraging our vast database of strategic and financial buyers.
ADVISORY
We work extensively with Attorneys, CRO’s, Financial Advisors, Assignees, Trustees/Receivers and other restructuring professionals to advise them on the best strategy to monetize assets. Onyx secured a Stalking Horse bid of $7.62 million and then procured additional overbidders to participate June 17th auction resulting in over 70 individual bids and a winning bid well over the initial stalking horse bid. The sale was completed and fully funded in October 2022.

DrinkWorks, a joint venture between Keurig, Dr Pepper and Anheuser-Busch InBev, provided home bar systems designed to prepare a variety of cocktails using proprietary Pods. Onyx provided DrinkWorks with a financial minimum guaranteed recovery and conducted a separate auction within weeks of each other.
