Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Gross is responsible for the financial functions of Onyx. He brings to the firm over thirty years of experience, specializing in internal and external reporting, budget management and forecasting, financial analysis, financial audit management, system implementation and contract negotiation.

Heritage Global Partners, Inc.

Chief Financial Officer (2009 – 2014)

Responsible for the implementation of the accounting and finance functions for the auction and appraisal firm, including integration with a Canadian based public company acquirer and three European subsidiaries in England, Spain and Germany.   Other responsibilities included cash management and reporting for auction clients, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll financial reporting, human resource compliance and risk management.

Sosnick and Sons.

Controller (2009)

Served as key resource responsible for overseeing the entire accounting functions of a fourth generation family managed candy and confections distributor. Handled all the firms accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting, human resource compliance and risk management.

First Virtual Group.

Controller (2006 – 2008)

Served Took charge of accounting and accounts payable tasks of the multi-entity payables driven office. Handled the preparation of monthly income statements for forty-two entities and the consolidation of the balance sheet and income statement.

Dovebid, Inc.

Corporate Controller (2005 – 2006)

Managed finance and reporting functions for a venture backed national auction and appraisal firm. Responsible for cash management, accounts payable, financial reporting, and risk management.

Corporate Controller (1987 – 1998)

Privately held predecessor to Dovebid, Inc. Same role and responsibilities as at Dovebid.
